Thailand News The Education for Development Foundation (EDF) has recently launched a new service learning project under the name “Thai Educational Service Learning Program” (TESL), inviting Thai language speaking Americans to experience a unique six-week (June 24 - Aug. 3, 2007) of cross-cultural atmosphere. At the same time the participants will gain realization about social, poverty, and education problems in rural northeast Thailand as well as to help underprivileged children living in remote poverty areas. The overall purpose of TESL is to foster the deep comprehension in Thai society.
